no not this time. It clashed with Shanghai qualifiers.
I can assure you if I was there I'd be getting the information out without delay, even if I had to phone it all back to someone.
The other reason I couldn't go is that they don't allow women to work alongside the men in the same room. That's also why the IBSF World Ladies under 21s has had to be moved to India.

Yes I can! I've seen the ladies from various gulf countries playing in their robes. Not sure I'd like it, but it's what you're used to I suppose.
We saw ladies in the Olympics in "modified" outfit with head dress so if it's okay for the athletes should be okay for the snooker players.
SO it's IRAN v THAILAND in the final... guarantee a new nominee for the Main Tour... stand by for visa problems!

Great to read who is in the final because it is not on the IBSF website .
Not even the scores from the semi's . Have you the scores from the semi's Janie if so could you post them PLEASE.
I watched most of Soheil match on the stream. He had a very big break in frame 9, looked like a total clearance and he just ran away with the match.
Extra experience over Li Yan came into it I think. Li played a few wild shots, but he's young and from what I've seen of him previously, is one to watch for the future.
I didn't see any of the other match. I couldn't find it on the stream at all.
Liu Chuang led 4-2 and ended up losing 7-6 so well done to Noppon. Delight for all the Thais who've been striving to get information all week.
I'm afraid the Iranian TD hasn't sent me a single result for three days now. I've had to call on all my contacts around the world to get information. India even rang me to update the scores, so many thanks to them and roll on Hyderabad, where the Indians are already extremely well organised to promote the world championship in November.

Janie,
Is this still definitely happening? I thought I had read that it was being moved but then saw no other information about it and assumed it wasn't going to be played this year.
You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't
