              Wish we'd known about it sooner. Can anyone direct me to a place where all these events are posted in advance of them happening - GSC used to be the first to share these things - perhaps I missed it somewhere on the site.

                  He did post it in fairly good time, like he has said. You have obviously missed, but I think we do need a section for Professional Tournaments to be posted, as the Professional Tournament Discussion bit gets clogged up with rubbish.
