Scotland V England in the last 8 of the men's event!

What a day for the Scottish lads with the men winning 10-9, all the lads in the under 21s into the last 16 the only downer being the Scottish lads losing 5-7 in the masters to the old enemy lol
Not seen any of the Scottish lads play but I have streamed a few of the matches and there is some quality stuff being played out there. Some big draws in under 21s with Luca Brecal up against Sam Harvey in the last 16.

the biggest surprise for me has been the polish players. just watching Adam Stefanów vrs Robert Carlisle with the polish player leading 3-2 another polish player Kacper Filipiak went through to the last 8 earlier on beating Suleman Salam from Sweden 4-0
well ended up 4-3 victory for Robert Carlisle over Adam Stefanów great result for the scots lad coming back from 3-1 down cleared up with a 74 to take him into the last 8 to play another Scottish lad in Michael Leslie that's all four of the Scottish under 21's players into the last 8 of the tournament. looks like a good tournament for the scots with the men in the semi finals and the over 40's just losing out to england 7-5

Yep quality result for Sam there, has got to take confidence from that win. Quarter-final match tonight is Sam v Vinny Muldoon, looks quite a talent as well.
