Hi,
I am a left handed player with a left dominant eye. I feel most comfortable with the cue slightly left under my chin.
Had Chris Henry over at my house years ago and did some tests. Apparently i don't sight the cueball dead center although in my vision I see it dead center.
He advised me to aim slightly left of center to correct this.
It works. I just did 4 screwshots, object ball on blue spot, cueball on balkline and screw back to the balk line. Potted 3 out of 4, missed one by a inch or so. So not bad I guess.
My question is if there would be a alternative to that by changing the way I aim but strike the center of the cueball as I see it ?
Although it works, it feels awkward to aim off center to get straight cueing.
