Cue taper and thin cut shots

Hello , do you feel that a thin tapered cue is easier to make fine cut shots?

I seem to get less feel when playing fine cuts using thick tapered cue, is it normal, and why is that?

I have the same feeling that I can do delicate shots in small areas better with a slim tapered shaft.
But I think it is only a mind thing because the slimmer shaft looks more fine and precise.

No. However if you feel comfortable at these shots with this particular cue ask yourself why? Then try to feel as comfortable with your normal or other cue.
