Yes, I agree. but what when there is a pause but one stops at the cueball. think its the same with golf. its going through the ball, either with club or cue. cue not used in golf of course
Can you may be use another video recording device, such as a digital camera, and film yourself shooting more than ONE ball.
I think you have some problem with your delivery, does not look like you are going through the ball well. There are lots of very qualified coaches and very good players here, I am sure they can help you out once they get to watch you hit a few balls.
thanks heaps guys~~
i know im not doing it right as well....
because it feels really weird when the cueball
smacks the ball.....
anyways i will slowly get rid of the habits and
chuck another video on sometime sooon
maybe tomorrow ~~
camera view is quite close so can not see your whole technique, but from what I could see once down on the ball it all seems a bit rushed and not very fluent. Try relaxing with your cueing arm and just take as much time as you need.....
There isn't much to go on but from what I can see it does appear that you rushed into the shot. It looks like you may need to improve your timing. On the final feather, you don't necessarily need a pause but a slight stop before executing the shot. If it's power you're after, you need two things. One is timing and the other is a goos, solid back swing. If you can post a few more videos from different angles, front, back sideways it will be a massive help.
