  • Coaching with Nigel Bond

    Hi all,

Just thought I'd give some feedback on my coaching session with Nigel Bond this evening.

Firstly, he was very welcoming, warm and an easy outgoing person. Very easy to get along with. He has a fantastic set up at his house. It is a tournament standard table, number 10 cloth and heaters, the lot and a very cosy snooker room with lots of memorabilia that give it that professional set up look.

I really learned a lot tonight. plenty of good routines and exercises. He watched me play and gave me a few pointers along the way. Excellent one to one coaching.

I had booked a 2 hour sessin with him and when my time was up I started to unscrew my cue but Nigel stopped me and said he wanted to see me playing with the rest. He then gave me excellent pointers on playing with the rest. I really appreciated this extra time he gave me, and even if he had not i had still had more than my moneys worth from him.

Top bloke and I will be booking with him again. Would highly recommend him:snooker:
    Breaks 2010- 47, 40, 56, 53, 47, 45, 46

        Hi,

To both of the above questions.

He lives in Chesterfield and charges a very reasonable £25 per hour. Great value from a top professional.

Well that was great, super friendly, very helpful and I feel 100% more possitive about my game.

Some good practice routines to work on and I'm already looking forwards to my next session with him.

                  Cheers chap....

He's already set a lot of things in my mind, things I didn't even remember him saying either!!!!

Went for an hours practice earlier and rather than plodding on as I had been doing and getting frustrated with things, I found myself able to apply the things he'd said and shown me and felt the benefit of that within a few shots of me applying them.

I've also noticed that the things I've read on here have started to make sense and they too I've been able to apply, whereas before I'd turn up to practice with good intentions but quickly sank back into the normal routine.

Just hope I can afford some more in the near future and that I can keep things moving forwards!

Well I feel like a completely different player and feel that a decent break is not far round the corner IF I keep this up....

Still missing some easy balls and that needs to be worked on but on the whole my games as certainlt picked up since the coaching....

Wish I had time to go and get some more this week....
