Found a great video with Eddie Charlton describing his thought process for a century break in 1973! Not all the shots are shown but it's a great way to understand some crucial elements of breakbuilding.

Yeah and this probably took Eddie 20 minutes or more if i remember his style properly. Its worth mentioning at the beginning of the clip the chap in the middle is Tony Knowles who is still competing in the PTCs as an amateur and the guy on the left is David Icke who went from presenting sport on British TV to claiming he was the new Messiah and conspiricy theorist! For those of you who didn't know.

Well, not quite on a 'whim'....you heard of editing...

No I've not heard of editing, what does that mean?

Have a look again. The word 'apparently' suggests a hint of irony in my post.

Still, a nice little tutorial, if there is editing can't see the joins and i really want to believe he did it there and then anyway, he sure gets excited to say its faked.

He did miss a couple in when filming that, there's a version on YouTube where it shows him missing a black and then saying something like, 'This could be a long one'.
