I don't think the stance is the root cause of your problem with the right hand side. It will be more to do with the alignment of the upper body, especially grip arm shoulder and elbow coupled with the grip itself and also where the cue is on your chest (if you have it against the chest).
There's something to be said for Del Hill's '4 points of contact', i.e. - bridge, chin, chest and grip. Try doing what mister Trump does and when you first get down into the shot flex the cue against the chin and chest, ensuring you have your elbow up as high as possible along with the shoulder.
