Hi all,
Quite new to the page. I've played blackball rules pool competitively for around 17 years or so, since I was 15. Have played to a decent standard, representing N.Ireland at u23 level and my region most years, as well as the pub team.
I've tried my hand at snooker a few times, but get frustrated with my game as I can struggle until I'm in amongst the balls, and can then maybe put together a break in the 20s/30s.
I want to start taking snooker a lot more seriously, as it will only be beneficial to my cuesport skill in general. Would anyone have any advice on practice drills or the like, especially on longer distance safety type shots, as that is what I struggle with most.
Many thanks!
Andy
