newbie wants to make a cue
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to snooker forum, it was recommended to me by Robin Cook the cue maker after I told him I wanted to make my own cue. I've just spent 2 days building a work bench, bought some planes on ebay, have done all my planning and now need some advice on the following;
1 where to get good ash & some ebony splices in the Hinckley, Leicestershire area?
2 what is the best type of saw to use when cutting for splicing?
3 what is the best type of glue to use?
Hopefuly the end result will be a bit better than when I first tried to make a cue from an old christmas tree but I was only 9 at the time.
