Hi all, new member here.
Watching the snooker these past couple of weeks has renewed my interest in the game I first fell in love with over eighteen years ago. Three years later at the age of 16 I stopped playing hoping I'd never see another snooker table again! Since then I've probably played maybe a dozen times but only as something to do while drinking a few beers
I was wondering if there are any other users from Essex on the forum and more specifically the Basildon area? Did/does anyone play at the Basildon Snooker Club? It was around 1992-1995 when I was a member there, which at the time was where Stuart Bingham had his practice table.
I'm thinking about dusting the cue off and maybe going for a game this weekend - hopefully I can find the same enjoyment I had when I first started playing, and not let my skill (or lack of) affect that!
