First post here. Was born in Sheffield, UK (Hence the fan of Snooker) but Canadian and living in Calgary. Highest break is only 31 but like most people I can sometimes pull off shots that I see on TV. I make iPhone games in my spare time and also a keen follower of SWFC (over the internet of course)

Welcome to TSF. There is an active snooker tournament season in Alberta run by the Alberta Association and these lead to qualification for the Canadian Championships every June. If you go to the Canadian website (snookerline.com) there is a link in there to contact the Alberta Association and usually their tournament schedule is up there somewhere too, usually in the Forum.
