hi everyone, I'm Max, been watching snooker on telly for ten years or so on and off. I've done a fair bit of armchair punditry and very recently took the plunge and bought my first cue with my mate cant wait to start playing around the clubs. if anyone else is based in Notts let me, I'td be great to make some snooker pals.

Hi Neil, thanks for the comment about my username. It's also my DJ name here is a link to my soundcloud where I have a few mixes and some tracks I had made. if reggae isn't your cup of tea then I'll be adding other genres of music if your interested.

I bought a Powerglide tournament Vinci
      heres a link:http://www.johnparrottcuesports.com/...-cue-1024.html

from John Parrots website although It hasnt arrived yet (quite annoying as my housemate ordered a cannon cobra in the same order and his arrived next day!) essentially because I don't have a massive budget and was reading that for a beginner there isn't much point in spending a fortune on a cue. what do you have? how long have you been playing?

Used to play with a guy who had dreads .........always a laugh having his hair tied back all the time . He was a musician as well . Decent player too .

You started out right with the cue as well . don't want to spend too much.....like some people on here do and are always changing their cues looking for the right one .......oh .....that would be me then !

Started playing when i was 15 ....42 now and still enjoy this frustrating game !

I use a Robert Osborne Greenplate cue .
