  • Green Liff Intro

    Hi all.

Thank you for letting me into TSF as a member.

I am a keen player and would love to one day compete against amateurs. I play every evening in my local club in Germany if work permits.

I am British Forces currently serving in Germany but am posted back to UK very soon.

First step for me is to buy a really nice custom cue for me to cherish for life.

Any help in selecting the best, and right, cue is appreciated and I look forward to chatting with you guys on here and hopefully meeting you at a club to play.

Warm regards to everyone on TSF.

    Welcome to TSF :snooker:

What's your budget for a cue ? And where will you be based in the UK ? As you might be able to try a cue out before you buy .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Thank you. Going to be hopping around month after month and would like to get one sooner rather than later. Budget is absolutely no more than £500 really

What level are you playing to with your current cue and what make of cue are you using. If the cue suits your game copy all the specs and try replicate it with a cue made to better standards. You will have a wide choice of cue makers to go for with a budget of up to £500.

Doing well with my peradon cue but it throws massively and the shaft is far too thick going up to a big tip. I would like an 18oz 58inch 9.5mm tip

Good standard snooker specs, you could also look to buy second hand, some nice cues come on here from time to time. I know you can use the edit button for posts but not sure about changing thread titles.

I don't mind second hand. If it's right. I would just struggle to be able to try it
