  • UK Final – Results

Good morning from a slightly chilly York!

Below are the results of the UK Final predictions.

Please check your scores (and anyone else’s as you wish), and report any queries, on this thread, within 48 hours of the date/time displayed above. You are reminded that queries raised after this time cannot normally be considered for correction.

There was a three-way tie, which was resolved in the following way:
Closeness to highest break: cap, 125; chasmmi, 119; Mitsuko, 136; actual, 135.

Therefore, congratulations to Mitsuko for winning the round.

Please note that googlefooger, JHISMG and missneworleans gained a bonus point (not included below) for correctly predicting the highest break of the round, which was Peter Ebdon’s 135.

yay ^_^ first round ever (hopefully)
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

Well done Mitsuko, I'm just hoping my late surge has meant I've done OK in the overall standings.

Well thank goodness for you Wim, otherwise I'd have been last! I think this has been my worst prediction competition ever.
