Below are the provisional results of the Final Prediction Contest for the World Championship.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
A quick reminder of the scoring: 2 points for the correct winner and scoreline; 1½ points for correct winner and scoreline one frame adrift; one point for the correct winner with other scoreline.
There was a four-way tie for first place, which was resolved by looking at the highest break prediction:
106 – actual
140 – ronnieisthebest
140 – berolina
147 – Monique
147 – elvaago
The remaining two-way tie was resolved by looking at the last remaining criterion for tie-breaking, time of post – and ronnieisthebest’s predictions were posted before berolins’s.
Therefore, provisional congratulations to ronnieisthebest for winning the round.
Please note also that nobody gained a bonus point for correctly predicting the highest break of the round, which was Ronnie O’Sullivan’s 106.
