Below are the provisional results of the First Round Prediction Contest for the World Open.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
A quick reminder of the scoring: Correct winner and correct scoreline, 1 point; Correct winner, wrong scoreline, ½ point.
There was a two-way tie for first place, which was resolved in the following way:
Number of correct match-winners predicted:
Rivercard - 9
Spike - 8
Therefore, provisional congratulations to Rivercard for winning the round.
Note also that Odrl, Mr P, GER147, Barcicik, gained an extra point (not included in the table below, but indicated with a *)for correctly predicting the highest break, which was Ronnie O'Sullivans 147.
