Below are the provisional results of the Third Round Prediction Contest for the World Open.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
A quick reminder of the scoring: Correct winner and correct scoreline, 1 point; Correct winner, wrong scoreline, ½ point.
There was a four-way tie for 1st place which was resolved by looking at the correct number of match winners and then frame difference for correctly called matches, as shown below...
dantuck_7 - 7 correct
mw86 - 8 correct (fd=7)
JPK123 - 8 correct (fd=5)
JP - 8 correct (fd=7)
Therefore, provisional congratulations to JPK123 for winning the round.
Note also that xxx, gained an extra point (not included in the table below, but indicated with a *) for correctly predicting the highest break, which was Mark Williams' 112.
