Li Hang and Xu Si didn’t manage to get there due to flight problems. Forfeit their matches. What a shame. Must be gutted.

Better to get it now than just before WC qualifiers.

are these tournament locations for world snooker staff to get a suntan and do a bit of sightseeing , they've held tournaments around here for years and still there doesnt seem to be any decent players from this area coming through , maybe its just to get some more referees with european accents i dont know.

Apart from my usual objection to a best-of-7 event having ranking status, I do find the Gibraltar Open a little bit bizarre, considering one of the first things the Hearn administration did when they took charge was to remove any support for snooker in Malta, supposedly because there was no future there. And the Malta Cup was a popular event that always had a full house (okay, very small venue, but still), and tradition going back to the late 80s. I just don't see how Gibraltar is better in any way.

Its one of those moments where i dont mind the intervention of st.david hendon or phillip studd explaining such matters , the players dont seem to help explain things much they largely seem a bit cap in hand not upsetting their paymaster.

No Fraser Patrick or Anthony Hamilton either .

Bad weather in Gibraltar apparently , flights being diverted to Malaga and looks like anyone with a Non Eu Passport is having an issue .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Nice 147 by Ballrun. Terrible result for Un-Nooh. Might fall off the tour. So much talent.
