I get that is a bit of an issue, but he said in other press that he had been practicing in confined space on his own table and doing well with it. That's positive talking and thinking and he played well against Hugill.
He's won his one WC title there too so it's not like he can't do it. Steve Davis done ok there too and he's slightly taller than Neil.

I guess it's just a little strange to me hearing negative views from him while trying to win the title. I'd have thought it better to give it 100% with positive thoughts and if it doesn't work out, share his views after and not during the event.

    • Surprisingly low quality stuff. It's just the kind of wobble from Lisowski that Robertson needed, but he is not taking any advantage. Looks completely out of sort so far.

          • Great timing of my last post. Okay, maximum is one thing, but the frame before is actually the more worrying moment for Lisowski. Basically threw the frame away, and he's going to need as many as he can get...

            • Quicker and much more positive, that's the Robertson I like to see.

              • Are there any wristwatch fanciers here who happen to know what Jack’s timepiece is?

                      • Peter Ebdon will be tearing his hair out watching this ( yes I know , sick joke but I feel sick watching Jack going down the dustpipe )

                        • Well, I didn't see that one coming. Even after two sessions, I still had my doubts, but well played to Lisowski. Robertson will know he should have won this one though, he had plenty of chances. Yet another year where the World title eludes him, and this time it's completely his own fault.

                          • It´s tough to be a fan of NeRobertson at the crucible. And also to be tired of seeing the class of 92 year after year. Quite incredible actually you should think that the youngsters were much more hungry after titles than the old men, but it doesn´t look that way.

                            • Robbo threw that one away but nice to see Jack get a win. Higgins will murder him.

I don't think it's hunger, the class of 92 are very special players.
