Well, I live in Aachen, Germany, 3km from the Belgian border, so I have easy access to all the beers I want, German, Belgian, Dutch, you name it. But I do like Duvel as well, it's just that I have some Leffe left in the fridge

Yep. Not the only time he's been whitewashed in a session either. I believe he also lost all 8 frames of his second session against Higgins in the SF of the 1998 World Championship. Won the last one of the previous session and the first one of the following session though, so it was only 8 in a row.

I like what Shaun Murphy said about Brecel's win that this could trigger something on continental Europe, certainly if he goes on to become WC, that would be great, you never hear anything about snooker in Spain and very little in France either.

Yeah i speak/play players from France now & then and they all say the snooker scene is pretty non existant there, in Belgium it is a lot better though, nice big clubs, plenty tournaments to enter, if you want you could play a tournament each weekend really, except for summer.

Mark Selby is really starting to look like Mark Selby again. I'm undecided wether this is alarming or awesome...

Anyway he's gonna be the number one of the rankings again if he reaches the final now that Ronnie is out.

That statistic always impresses me. He will have finished the season at the top of the rankings for the 8th time, which is just one short of Hendry. Under the previous system of only updating the rankings once a year, that would have meant an almost uninterrupted reign.

Per my calculations Selby won't be number #1 even if he lifts the title. He would still be behind O'Sullivan, who finishes with 866.000 points, while Selby can only reach 799.500.
The only one who can overtake O'Sullivan with the World title is Allen.
