I've never been able to track any more results from this 1983 New Zealand tournament but I'd imagine that that all the players who travelled to the 1983 Australian Masters also went on to compete in the NZ event straight afterwards. That's certainly what happened in 1984. There was definitely no Australian Masters in 1988 btw as the New Zealand Masters replaced it that year.
