Johnson in the same sentence,'Trumps thrown this frame away, it wasn't his fault the miscue' :-|

Yes, I've had many a good shout at the screen over that one. Some of the bunkum him comes out with, I sometimes find it difficult to believe he's actually played the game at professional level.

Tbf I think a lot of it is him just accomodating the co commentator dumasses with him,9 to 11 frames with Mike Smith etc,not easy.

        • Excellent frame from Robertson, a great long pot under pressure, then did enough to win it in one visit. This is dangerous for Trump now, he really need the next frame. If Robertson gets chances to win, he will take them, he always does.

          • Tremendous long red from Robertson punishing Judd's poor attempt at a snooker behind the yellow. Funnily enough, played from a position where he would normally have gone for the pot on the brown, but decided to play the more 'mature' shot instead, bet he wishes he'd stuck to his 'natural' game now. Wonder how much that'll affect how he plays for the remainder of this match, more fireworks perhaps?

              • Great response from Trump to level the match again, just as he was starting to look under pressure. I didn't enjoy the first part of this match that much, but it's been great stuff in the last four frames or so. Should be a great finale.

                    • Trump starting to score heavily just at the right time, while Robertson is starting to make mistakes. Can Robertson turn it around for the final time?

It's going to be tough to beat the Shanghai final, definitely the final of the season so far, no matter what happens here. In my opinion of course.

                      • And 10-8 it is, good stuff from Trump after the final interval. A nice title to go along with his number 1 spot.

Robertson finally defeated in a major two-session final, but he tried his best, and to be honest I didn't even think he was playing well enough to get this close.

Looking forward to the UK Championship now.

                        • Deserved win by the strongest player in the world (currently).

                          • Does anyone know if the UK prize money will be as much as this? cheers

                            • I think the UK is £100,000 for the winner. But not sure. I don't really pay too much attention to the prize money.

                              • Good win by Judd Trump. Didn't think he's rescue that one.
