My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins. I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)
Yes, it was a shocking but not surprising miss, it's been a very limp performance from Bingsy and no change in the 4th so far, yet another gifted chance for ROS, unfortunately. Stuart starting to look embarrassed now ..

Yeah it was a shame Bingham didn't perform at all....... I thought it was going to be a close match, how wrong I was!!
Winner of 2011 Masters Fantasy game...... Winner of 2011 World Championship Fantasy game.......
got to say that was probably the worst I have seen Stuart play - ever
Not that ROS was playing well either but had less unforced errors/misses.
anyway, next match...
what's your opinion of the table and how it is playing?
The commentators have mentioned it several times and I have seen better speed on these "match" tables.
The cushions seem ok, can only recall seeing a big bounce once, but the cloths do seem slow than what we have come to expect.

First match on friday, the cloth was really responsive, I don't know what happened then but now it looks pretty slow.

Maybe playing a bit slow but it's the same for everybody so... I'm not a great believer in the "Big Bounce" theory and have yet to be convinced.

The fast and the furious,
The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

Same here.
By the most essential law of physics, whatever energy comes out of the cue ball (i.e. the distance it rolls), would have to be put into the cue ball first...
This applies to every stage of the shot, weather it be before or after contact with a cushion.
Agree with what you are saying but there were a couple of times that i've seen the white ball appear to come off the cushion quicker than when it went on . Very rare i hasten to add .
That probably has more to do with the type of spin that was on the cue ball before it hit the cushion.
Like when you apply loads of topspin, the cue ball tends to 'drop dead' after contact with the cushion, and in the same way, lots of backspin would accelerate the cue ball after contact with the cushion.
