another day gone
down to two tables
fantastic matches -some players not on form, some loving the occasion
spoke to a couple of players and Terry Griffiths
and was on TV or so my wife and kids (who were over the moon seeing me on the magic-picture-box) tell me

He played a good snooker on Higgins in the decider but yet again Higgins got out of it and left it safe but Judd didn't have any other safety option but to leave the red on the side cushion and Higgins consequently doubled it around the angles.
Yes its a shot on but its a very low percentage so I can see why some may construe it as a fluke. You wouldn't tend to go for it unless the frame was won or you were comfortably ahead because that red could easily have caught the angle and come back down and leave a pot. For Higgins to play it, it was a bit desperate IMO. Judd played the percentage safety and Higgins took on a big gamble.
I don't know many players that would be happy losing to such a shot in a decider but there you go.

I'm not going to say which players as I don't want to jinx anymore matches
Definitely no advice given or asked just general chat and best wishes etc.
had a nice chat with TG as I met him when having lessons with his son down the road. of course he would not remember me at all but he was nice and had a chat about Wayne in HK.
best match? - Scott Donaldson v David Gilbert great breaks and confidence from the young player.Up the TSF! :snooker:
