Personally I don't see that as a clear and 'sincere' apology. Of course a player will always be apologetic, but at the same time enjoy being able to continue the break and/or win the frame. So no apology will ever be really sincere I guess. It's all about winning frames in the end. But...the way Wasley casually waved his hand in apology...he could have tried a bit harder really I feel. Especially knowing the importance of that pot in the context of the match. But that's youth for ya I guess. With age comes a bit of empathy and understanding. He could take a few pointers from Murphy, the way he lets his opponent know he feels bad about a fluke and not take it for granted. Furthermore, to me there was no intention to go for the pot, clearly he was trying to get the red in the baulk area. Too high risk otherwise. But then again, with these young players nowadays going for everything at times, one can never know for sure
