So we have our winner...congrats to Judd. He played excellent safety throughout and I think that's been the difference. He never let up on ROS, and consiquently kept ROS completely cold during the last 6 frames.

Tainted, I feel, by RoS' incredibly childish behaviour. Where dd that come from? He's been on-and-off all week but he was fine this afternoon and then after the 2nd mid-session break, he just imploded... Thought we'd seen the last of him behaving like a twat. Guess I was wrong.

Good solid match play from Judd, something I don't think anyone would have thought they would say about him 6 months ago.

The amount of times he put Ronnie on the baulk cushion was the reason he won it in the end. Ronnie was frozen out and never found his usual form but I think you have to credit Judd for that.

Neither played at the top of their games but I think this could be a telling victory for Judd as it will now give him the self belief that he can win any tournament and for me this is great timing with the crucible just less than a month away.
