  • I know I'm probably the only one but the camera angles are far better than normal . Can see the whole player on most shots etc .

    • I heard Clive Everton say the other day that a couple of months ago Neil Robertson got into the habit of dropping his son off at school and then going to play computer games for a couple of hours... which turned into several hours. Before he knew it, it was time to pick his son up from school. Seriously, what the hell?

If I had his opportunity and talent I'd like to think I was reminded where I came from and would look back to the time when I was doing proper work 8-9 hours per day. Surely that would motivate you to put in 5-6 hours of good snooker practice per day with the lucrative £££ rewards?

That's what separates the likes of Stephen Hendry and Steve Davis to Neil Robertson; they would both ice him out in their respective primes. I don't buy into this rubbish that Hendry was past it at 30 - he reached another World final in 2002 beating an in-form Ronnie in the process AND regained the world number one ranking in 2007.

On another note, I've warmed a lot to Barry Hawkins this year and enjoy watching him play now, which is weird because I wouldn't have been that interested in his matches 5 years ago. Quality quality player
Favourite players: Kirk Stevens, Stephen Hendry, John Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Ding Junhui

Yes saw that in a Robbo interview, I cant recall the computer game name but he did mention it and he admitted he got hooked

Thanks for the tip - I'll bear it in mind next year!

          • I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone play better than MF is at the moment. As good as, yes. With more flair, certainly. But better, no.

                      • Is no one watching?? I was expecting at least three pages of posts about that last frame by now. If RO had done that the roof of the building would have come off.

                          The fast and the furious,

I'm hoping he's not on this occasion; would like to see Ryan in the final.
