I still think as an outside bet Barry Hawkins has a decent chance.

Mark my words. This year belongs to Judd. Judd Trump will win hands down.

              Oh wait...............................

Nearly 20% of peoples votes has gone in the first round with Trump on his own, my horse Higgins is looking good IMO

In all seriousness i can see Higgins going all the way. Selby can never be left out either.

I think he will but he'll need to play at his maximum every round from now on. Apart from Trump all the first round matches have gone as I expected, I thought Day would lose his too BTW, so in my opinion that wasn't an upset in a first to 10 match. The tournament is looking stronger and stronger with the majority of the favourites through. Maguire a funny one, he'll be the toughest one to predict, he could lose to McLeod but he could equally go all the way to the final and perhaps win it (though that's very unlikely).

When you look at the top half of the draw and names like Selby, O'Sullivan, Roberston and Ding, it's much
tougher than the bottom half with Hawkins and Higgins and for me, the bottom two are the one's to keep an eye on.

Ding and Bingham for me, not exactly sticking my neck out I would like KW to go through, keep some younger blood in but Bingham just seems to find a way.

I kind of think outside the box - Every year I place three bets - I bet with my head, then my heart, and finally for a laugh outsider luck. I have my favourite players of course but when betting my players change and it seems to do ok for me.

Well I bet on three Robertson Ding and Dott - Reason for Robertson - My head vote - he never went to China he stayed back to focus and practice - he realised his form was not good enough so he dedicated. I think a win is overdue for this talented ozzy. My heart vote is Ding same as last year- he got there last year and has begun to visualise wining it which is important - best positional player and break builder in the world for me and a real nice guy to boot - I really want him to win.

Bottom half of the draw I think is wide open but I think Dott is playing great here again striking the ball with a purpose and loving the place - Lots of people write him off or discount him - not me - he was my outsider pick this year because he reminds me of that grand national horse who loves the ground keeps coming back every year and always seems to get round placed or be in the running. He is solid all around if not outstanding in any area - except one (determination) and I like that so I am sticking with him to pull off a shock and get to another final.

Aside from these and I have not bet on him but I would like to see Maguire do it this year - In my opinion his talent deserves at least one final in his career and it might be his last throw of the dice.

I think your logic is spot on, but I never bet with my heart when there's £ signs involved. Robertson I think is due a run @ the Crucible in what has been a poor season for him.
Ding got to the final last year and you just don't know what to expect from him. As for Dott, well, his record away from this event is awful, but for some reason he doesn't feel
the pressure ' Sheffield and likes the longer frames and scrapping it out. Top Half - Selby Bottom Half - Hawkins.
