Don’t think Jimmy was too impressed with Ronnie during the interview , didn’t say a great deal .

Ronnie made some poor comments about his lesser opponents. They earn their right to be in tournaments , not sure why he thought that they just got rung up the week before they were drawn against him .

Needs to ensure that he doesn’t foul when down on a shot , did it twice tonight . One of them being very costly . I liked his pace round the table , but a daunting prospect getting over the line on a tv table against Ronnie . Good luck to him for the rest of the season .

Ronnie really seems to resent playing guys like that. Some of the comments he made after about only wanting to play people who deserve to be there was a bit supremist.

I don't think he was happy about the thought of weeks of press talking about another defeat by a low rank player. Although he hates to admit it means much to him it's obvious to me it means a great deal and that defeat by Cahill is probably a wound that's only just healing .

Hope that Ronnie doesn't get bouts of " all tired and emotional " this season , the more running he does the better his moods it appears , not nice disrespecting other players , when he was snookered against O Neill and played well short , he smashed into the pack on the second try . Not a good sign
