I still can't believe of results. I left at 12-9 and then saw result at internet...u have to see my eyes when I saw results! Incredible performance by Murphy, although Matthew was a bit nervous at last frames. Anyway, great match, pleasant to watch

Unbelievable that Stevens was able to blow it from 12-7.. He f***ed up my predictions, plus Murphy (hardly my favourite player..) is in the semi-final with a great chance to get in the final again..
I'm sure Matthew is totally sick at the moment, and I feel a bit sorry for him and stuff, but if I were his coach I would break his cue on his head..
A shame for Stevens but he lacks the last bit of confidence and this certainly won´t help him.
I don't agree,I think this will help him.
I'm absolutely devastated that Matthew lost. This is the first snooker match that has actually made me cry!(yes, I'll admit it)
I'm sure he'll bounce back next season. I think he's main problem is lack of confidense. This might actually be the kick in the ar$e he needs to start working on these things.
Sometimes things have to go from bad to worse before it gets better.
Really incredible. Allready at 12 - 9 Murphy had this concentrated and determined expression as if he was certain to catch him.
A shame for Stevens but he lacks the last bit of confidence and this certainly won´t help him.
I agree, this is a massive blow not helping his confidence. The fear to fail in as good as won situations could go with him everywhere now. Let' s hope it doens't.
I will never criticize Matthew, he did his best on the day. I have now doubt he will again get into the top 16, he is too good a player not to be there.
I will still wear my Matthew T-Shirt with pride when I go to see him play.
