CMON JOHN 147 timeYou play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

The way Higgins is playing this evening this could be a thrashing. Taking all things into account, Selby's tiredness, Higgins' experience, I just think it will ultimately be too much for Mark this time around. I think this final is similair to the O'Sullivan V Dott final in 2004 where like Selby Dott was jsut happy to be there and realistically knew it would be very tough.
Saying that Selby is back in again.TSF World Champion 2010

Well, Mark got so, so, so unlucky today. Combine that with Higgins playing pretty well and i'm surprised he isn't 13-3 down. Higgins played well enough, and he's gonna be a worthy champ with the people he beat since the quarters. Just a shame this final looks to be a let down.
Disagree with him lasting at number 1 though, i think he'll be off there within a couple of seasons. I predict a decline for him after this or the next season.

I must say I have changed my opinion on Selby after he beat Murphy. He showed great spirit and he deserves to be in the final.
If he does loose it, it's no shame as he's playing against Higgins who is unbeatable when he's playing his best
So, I am pretty relaxed about this final, I like Higgins and I want him to win, but I would also like to see a comeback that would make it a bit more interesting

Well, I am a bit disappointed by the Final so far.
Don't get me wrong, I'll be more then happy when John Higgins lifts that trophy.
But I was hoping Mark Selby would play the way he did in all his previous matches, especially those last three frames against Murphy. Somehow though, last night, all the fight seemed to have gone out of him, and he mainly looked as i fit was way past his bedtime.
On a personal note: I was really looking forward to a nice EVENING final session today. If John Higgins continues his tremendous run, I'll not be able to WATCH him lift the trophy
SO come on Mark! Show us your fighting spirit!

yes, same here... these one-sided finals are always so anticlimatic. I didn't even bother watching most of the second session yesterday...
Maybe the players should have a one day full rest between semis and the final.
Anyway, here is hoping for a bit more excitement for today, at least leading into an evening session...
GO Mark!!!
