I have to say, even when he just makes a break of 40, it's more exciting than to watch any of the other players make a 100. You just don't know, is he going to miss the red from one feet away or is he going to slam in a double black (like in this frame)?

I understand Hendry had complaints about the cue ball, and as as Drago didn't mind, they had it replaced.

2-2! What is this!? Tony making more than two pots in a row, I must be dreaming.

Although he did win a frame under four minutes just last month in the WC qualifying, so he still has a fraction of ability left in him.

Today Tony showed a glimpse of how he can play, two electrifying frames, but Hendry got his act together after that so a deserved victory all in all.

I still can't quite understand how one can win any frame at all playing *that* fast..

PS: If someone recorded the match, it would be very much appreciated if he/she could upload it to youtube or rapidshare or whatever, especially frame 3 and 4.

Is it just me or is anyone else finding the Malta Cup to be a bit boring?

I am watching matches that have no immediate bearing on a player's progression in the event and then there is no 'Ronnie factor'.

It's not as interesting now that it's not a ranking tournament.

But it's still very nice to be able to watch Tony Drago for the last time.
