Can't believe 3 out of 4 breaks offs by Hendry were that poor

It was nervous in the end but well played Joe Swail! Plays Marco Fu tomorrow and certainly has a chance!
Well played Mark Selby must improve just a little bit tho. Hendry wasnt that bad but a few poor mistakes made it.

Good match again. Hendry wasn't too bad today, especially from short range. I think he could have gone through in some other parts of the draw.

As for Selby, he is looking very determined. It could be a cracking match if he meets Ding in the QF.

          Yay, Ding is through.

Ding - Selby in the quarters.

So then it's two Chinas + these German Masters with best of 9 (till 5 wins), 3 such tourneys... then UK & WC with more frames to win. OK, not too bad.

Pitty about Welsh & ex Grand Prix though :/

How come going back to 4 next season?

Well, if you look at the provisional calendar for next season, there are two extra ranking events planned, both scheduled for a full week. In the best case scenario, they will have the traditional format.

If one of them is in China, that would mean China would then have 3/4 of these.

                You mean these?
                "24-30
                Ranking Event"

                "26 March - 1 April
                Ranking Event"

                Must be certainly happening, ehem

                This looks good though:
                "15-18
                Brazilian Masters
Transamerica Expo Centre, São Paulo, Brazil."

Didn't see all of the match today but Hendry's cue action looks the best I've seen it in a couple of years. He'd got rid of that long pause and actually looked as though he could do a bit of damage.

Nice to see Mark J. scoring heavily for a change. I've been a little worried about his form but he seems to be playing well at the moment. And so is Joe Perry. Gentleman-Joe is giving Ali a good run for his money which is nice because Joe is a good player.

Surprisingly one-sided stuff tonight. But I suppose that's a good sign for tomorrow, because quite a few players seem to be playing well.

MJW-Dale match was played in a near-exhibitional athmosphere.

                              Good match it was..
                              All the way Mark J!!
