And to be honest, Cope just looked out of sorts. Though that doesn't make Ronnie's performance worse

Cope made a few easy mistakes, but the thing is that with Ronnie in this mood, you really cant afford making one, especially not in first to three. Holt and Cope both had one or two chances to build a break but broke down and then Ronnie cleaned it up. So far, I have to say him and Day is the most impressing by far.

Its a real treat. Noone has impressed like that yet although Day looks like he might be in for something big. I wont forget Ding though. He's often struggling in the first games of the tourny and then comes flying on big dragon wings, so if he manages to pull through to the second phase (which I am not sure he will) he'll be as strong a contender as any. But my bet certainly is on Ronnie.

Yes - He has been providing fantastic entertainment again so far this week. However as we all know with Ronnie, he is never a safe bet.

For example in the NIT he was brilliant all the way through to the final but never really got going there.
