Great with a win for Maguire. I´d feared he would never win anything again, as he often loses his temper in matches.

Told you so;; - Maguire played solid all weekend, but to be fair - so did Gould up until his match with Joe Perry - still amazed how Gould can play with those glasses, they are just normal glasses - he must have a special way of looking through them when he is cueing the ball - I could only see the top rim from that position would annoy me no end. A number of players wearing contacts without it being public knowledge, seemed to work fine with them.

You think? I had Gould as slight favourite.

It's possible Mags won't beat Hendry, the way Hendry is playing. But the way Hendry has been recently, you keep expecting him to throw in a bad performance somewhere.
