Hm, looking at that table, the match between Murphy and Trump could be decisive. Higgins is through. O'Sullivan plays Higgins, and needs the points, so I can see him winning. Hendry needs a win against Fu who is already out, so that's very realistic. That only leaves Murphy and Trump in a direct encounter, where Murphy needs a win and Trump needs a draw.

But that's a pretty detailed prediction, so I'm sure something will go wrong.

I always thought that, but I went along to Thursday's matches, and the pockets looked pretty tight to me!

Thought Murphy was excellent on the night, though - easily the most impressive of the four on show...

There is a possibility that when Higgins & O’Sullivan play both will be already qualified, and if that happens a win from the Scot means he is going to meet O’Sullivan again in the semis.
