Another decider for Anthony McGill this time against Barry Pinches. Any idea, is the game over?

McGill was 4-1 up in that match.

It is a shame people can't get in to see the new young players
Liam Highfield blasted in a 138 total clearance in the first frame tonight against Jimmy

and Kyren Wilson's 70+ break in the opener against Andy Hicks would have made Alex Higgins applauding.

shame for McGill that. I've been impressed with him so far this season and think he could have top 32 potential. We need a few of the teens to breakthrough and he looks one of the better bets.

Barry is in good form though

Jimmy White 1-4 down. Surprised he's even playing tbh.

No offence to Barry Pinches' fans but

So many of these young guns can make a great match start, travel well and leave the (more experienced) opponent behind but then lose the advantage.... Is it just a matter of match experience?

Not taking away anything from Liam's (probable) victory joy, but I don't think Jimmy feels quite like playing at the moment, just back from Belfast....

You couldn't expect Jimmy White to win yesterday, he only arrived back from his best friends funeral the day before.

Loads of the higher ranked players lost yesterday, I wonder if it'll be the same today...

It's amazing that Jimmy played at all yesterday, all credit to him for doing that :snooker:

Vital ranking points lost though for Jimmy. He'll need some sort of run in PTC3 or PTC4 otherwise his place on the tour is in serious doubt.

Thanawat wins again, would love to see him in the televised finals to see how the ref gets to grip with his name

Hamilton v Drago still going. This must be the longest best of 9 match Drago has been involved in!
