  • Players getting over the Christmas festivities?

I heard the BBC commentators saying yesterday that there was a number of players that claimed they were a bit out of form because of not having gotten over the Christmas festivities...especially Higgins had complained about this...and I actually said this to a couple of friends when they asked how I thought he would do. I thought he'd do pretty well providing he'd gotten over the Christmas partying mode...turns out he hadn't...ahhh well...must say it's a bit unprofessional...can't say he didn't know the Masters was coming up...!!

think it was more geared towards Higgins being out of routine due to the Christmas buzz (young family etc.......) and that he found himself trying, but sluggishly getting back to playing well in practice.

others, although we all get out of routine at xhristmas, found it better falling into good play once back to normal
