- Maguire V. Shaun Murphy (I'm putting my bets on Shaun here because of the Rivalry and Shaun's revival of form)

Yeah, I usually expect Maguire to win against Murphy, because of the grudge he holds against him. Murphy doesn't seem to care that much, but this time, I think Murphy has more to prove than Maguire. Both will give it their best, I feel, should be close.
As for the other match, should be high quality as well. I didn't see much of Fu's matches so far, but he appears to be in pretty good form. I consider Fu a slight favourite.
If Carter gets to the final, I can't see him winning against either Murphy or Maguire. But if he does, I hope he does it in style, not stumbling over the line.Comment

The only player I have really seen play this week has been Maguire but he has struggled and must be amazed to be in a semi despite playing like a wilderbeast. Murphy too didn't look too good against Gould but has obviously played since then. Given their record you would have to favour Maguire but its too close to call.TSF World Champion 2010

I feel that Murphy will have the upper hand on Maguire this time but no doubt it will go very close. Even though Murphy is not that well liked on this forum i would prefer to see him beat Maguire as i prefer his style of play to Maguire's."Statistics won't tell you much about me. i think maguire is a better all round player and is more talented than murphy
