The swerve escape was lucky as he hit the wrong red and fluked a snooker on top of it but, on the other hand, Stu had his chance and missed a sitter so... Anyways, an entertaining match!

Good stuff from Ebdon as well, especially that first shot in his winning break, where he had to get around the black.

As for Selby's safety... He may have been playing thin off the first red, but once he missed it, there was always going to be a thin contact on the red behind it. I'm sure he took that into account.

Nice to see Peter Ebdon spending some time with the crowd after his match.

He went on to have a conversation with the ref about the number of kicks he gets, and the amount of chalk he deposits on the table.

I think he said something about having tried harder tips over the years, but not liking them, and that they sounded tinny?

I love it when they leave the camera/sound running between matches, so you get to earwig on that sort of thing.

Maybe I should get out more.
