It's weird that there are only two sessions today. Wouldn't it make sense to have three sessions and televise all six matches?

That would be better (for us spectators), but I guess this way they make sure there is enough time between sessions. They were quite optimistic about match length as always, giving 2 hours for best of 9 match.

I am disagreeing about choice colours quite a lot on this thread.

btw. todays correct colour code for Ronnie is PINK

It worked out yesterday, but I guess it was lucky that the matches finished 5-2 instead of 5-4.

Maguire-Hawkins is the match we won't be able to see, and unfortunately that was my pick out of the first three. But since I'm in the extreme minority, I can't really complain.

I see the QFs are played on two tables this year as well... I suppose that's fine. We can't really have one match played at night again, although it doesn't bother me personally. But it could be a problem, especially if it's a choice between O'Sullivan-Allen/Stevens and Higgins-Selby.

Back to the topic, my pick to be the best of the day is Allen v Stevens, which will probably go down to the wire.. Other matches are also looking strong, and this should be a quality snooker day..
