But at least now there's a slight chance of match-on in the evening.
Didn't find the draw online anywhere, but if I figured that out right, then the draw looks pretty hampered for Ronnie or MJW both... MJW has Stephen Lee or Milkins from qualifiers, Ronnie has Dott; then both have each other; and then whoever wins gets Selby next... Assuming then Selby was good but they (R or MJW) beat him, should deal with Meggy/Allen/Ebdon too; and then hope that in the other side of the draw Higgi/Robbo/Murph/Ding got each other so tired that they can take the titleCo-winner of Spike’s 2009 UK Championship number of centuries prediction contest.

Still, Stephen Hendry's 1999 campaign is hard to believe. Hunter, Wattana, Stevens, Ronnie and MJW is possibly the most difficult opposition he could have received. The only missing piece is John Higgins, who fell to Mark Williams in the other semi final.. I remember this tournament as a milestone, possibly because it's the reason I have never cheered for Hendry against any other player on the tour in the last decadeAll the way Mark J!!

He must be seriously jelous to Maguire as world no.2 with this year's draws in the tournaments in general... So much that could be looking forward to finally be no.2 next yearCo-winner of Spike’s 2009 UK Championship number of centuries prediction contest.

But I am reporting back (with an edited signature ).Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

Anyways, for any of the two (Ron & Higgi), ok and MJW, exactly this year and not any later could be their best another shot for WC. Years will be kicking-in, not just in relation to them themselves - the younger crowd is not planning to get weaker either.
Ok, but getting closer to the thread topic, the final is still on... Higgi about to get 21st ranking title under his belt, just 1 short of Ronnie's number. If he gets WC this year, he will basically overtake Ronnie on statsCo-winner of Spike’s 2009 UK Championship number of centuries prediction contest.
