Someone wrote that Gould has "no nerves" because of his job.. Well, looks like he has. He didn't lose it in the last frame - he played alright there - but after Neil won the first four frames you could feel this would happen. Would have been a nice story if Gould could have come through, but all credit to Neil, who I think is huge favourite to be in the semi-final now.
i do too, i recon he can reach the finals, which is crazy cuz hes not playing anywhere near as good as we have seen in previous years.
i think i might go into professional snooker, if u can win without playing your best...its crazy
What a day its been, two results I never thought were going to happen.
Way to go Steve and Neil, supporting both of you all the way to the final!:snooker:
"I don't need the money. I don't need the media. All that stuff just makes you into a worse person, and I am, for sure, much more of a dick now than I used to be. Because I have to deal with people all the time who feel like they know me from seeing me on TV. OK, you might think you know me, but I don't know you, so don't ****ing come up and give me high-fives and say 'sign this'. Coming from a small town, that's not the way I want to be. After a few hundred thousand times, it wears on you."
Well, one of the two players has to go through, and if Gould didn't deserve it, Robertson must have.
gould did deserve it, because he played flawless stuff in his first two sessions and i cant actually believe robertson had 5 frames at the start of the day.
Yes it was a great comeback but feeling so sorry for Martin...what a poor moment for his career
Why that happened? Probably the nerves of being near to a big win..and he should had minimised the number of crazy shots he took on when they werent going for him

exactly, he only played well in TWO sessions, not in the most important one, so he didn't win.... There is nothing like "deserving to win", insane discussion...
