However it is *the final* so this time I might be slightly more forgiving...but common fellas wrap it up already. Extra time now and very possible it's going to a penalty shootout...arghhhhhhh!

I don't get it - it's not professional, no money in it, no sponsors, nobody has heard of them, it's going nowhere and if people want to watch football it's on every other sports channel - so why bother???

Higgins and Trump maybe going 2 up each, maybe a maximum break before the games top two players face off again, a growing sport again, it's no competition!!

Higgins 2 - 0 up now and we're in the 3rd, Robbo's long game seems to have deserted him for the time being.... and just as I type that he knocks in a beauty.

Tbf judging the calibre of the 'when snooker was in its heyday' folks I'm not sure it was anything else. :-)

I still can't believe it but I actually heard a group of people cheering across the street where I live when the Brazilians scored 3-2...amazing really

Finally Eurosport has caught up with the snooker...rooting for John (as usual).

Higgins misses leaving a practice table for Robbo to take his first frame, 2 - 1. They are both struggling out there, fear of facing Judd no doubt!

No doubt hoping for a final frame decider in this one and since I missed 3 frames already it's not more than fair really

                2-2 it is then....

2 - 2 now and it's looking good as far as the decider's concerned. Seems like it's going to be one of those 'whoever makes the least mistakes wins' matches, which I suppose it always is, but I'm sure you see what I mean. Meanwhile, the fear of Judd not affecting Mark Davis, 2 - 2 there now as well.

I see MArk Davis is putting himself in his traditional 'just one match win away from the top 16' position, he likes to be in at the end of each cut off point.

Rather surprising scoreline there. Hoping for Judd to come through though to face either John or Neil. Should be a good final. Still I can't seem to adjust completely to these very short format matches. It doesn't work for me. Can't wait for the UK to start in 2 weeks time!

Yeah, just leaves you hungry for more doesn't it. I wish they'd make these PTC finals a bit longer, even best of 11 would do.

It does. And a best of 11 would be fine indeed, as a bare minimum. I just love the eb&flow of longer matches. Hey Barry...create a new tournament please with all the matches over several days...like back in Joe Davis times

Doesn't this audience choose some strange moments to applaud.

That's one heck of a black to miss from the spot! Incredible. Higgins looks rather tired doesn't he. But...a reprieve as Neil misses as well! As you said Andy...whoever makes the fewer mistakes will win this one.
