Basic Do's and Dont's in pool

I wish the likes of Rileys snooker clubs would start posting something like this around their clubs. The majority of members seem to have absolutely no idea whatsoever about keeping the noise down. Many of them are so loud and raucous they might as well be at a football match.

Quite funny. In Denmark snooker is a minority cuesport, and it´s the pool players that are showing noisy behavior, where the snooker players are more addicted and disciplined.

Another rule could be. Don´t allow people who are so drunk that they can´t stand up in the room.

I once played a match, where a drunk fellow fell into the wall 10 times at least. Both me and my oponent found it very hard to concentrate.

we use to put an empty pint glass in a pool table corner pocket,put a ball in the center of the table white opposite corner and the one who missed it would buy the next round some times there would be over 5 broken glasses in it would this be deemed a don't
i might add it's banned now

actually i have funny story. saw a mate of mine last night who never knew i had the club when i did and he said he had a pool singles comp there one night. first time he'd ever entered so he was bit nervous.

he turned up at my club (i wasn't there), and apparently there was some bloke giving a bird one on the pool table! when they finished someone turned to him and said 'right, you're on mate'

true story. i saw a lot myself and was bit annoyed i missed that one.
