as i was watching the Higgins & Selby game, i saw Mark potted a red in the middel pocket using left bottom english.
It was a relative straight forward shot, there is no ball near either the red or the cue ball, he could definately potted the ball with just bottom english and what i don't really get is after the impact, the cue ball didn't touch any cousions (and I don't think Mark intended to hit a cusion), so why does he use the side English, or does the side english actually influence the cue ball's path even it doesn't hit a cusion?
or it's just because of the camera angle that it was acutally just bottom english. Anyway, my above question stays. Can someone give me some hints?
