For about two months ago I bought a snooker/pool glove. I thought it was just a funny thing to do but after playing with the glove a realised that it was much better to play with it I feel that the cue goes through my bridge in a better way than playing on my bare skin. What is your opinions about playing with a glove? Do you feel that it is better/worse to play with a glove?
I used to wear a glove for a couple months ( my hands sweat a lot).
When I got rid of it it just didn't feel right!
The cue didn't slide so nice anymore. So i went and bought some "talk" powder and loved it.
You see , without a glove you can feel the weight of the cue way better. And that matters a lot.So I'd recommend buying that powder.Or like Mike already said just wash your hands (hot water) and use a cue towel.I've had a special towel once (it contained some wax or smth).
But if thet doesn't work - it's OK.
I've seen players with gloves win tournaments many times...

Depends if you prefer to listen to others giving you stick over comfort. A non-brainer really pal if you feel better with it sod everyone else.

Viktor, do you have a squeeky cue? maybe thats the problem and you should buy a new one from Mike. I'm sure he'll give you a discount just for abandoning the glove
Otherwise I'd try talc. I use it sometimes in my club, usually when I'm a bit nervous and hands are clammy for the final black off the spot for my weekly 147 (ok I lie, 16).

I used a glove for about a year and although it was smooth cueing, I had a problem with getting a grip on the felt with my bridge hand because the glove made the fingers slip.

That's a long time to be playing with a slippery glove..

The right glove had made Michael promises – dance with me and they’ll put you in pictures…
