  • snooker cue for pool

    i have a snooker cue with a 9.3mm tip..is it possible to play pool with it sinces the ball is bigger?

      I suppose you mean American pool? Yup, you can use a snooker cue to play although it might be easier to play with a bigger tip... you might mis-cue if not cueing well and it may be more difficult to get the desired reaction off the cue ball due to the lighter mass of the snooker cue.

      Oh, I would NEVER break off the pack using my snooker cue... far too precious for it to be smashing those heavy pool balls apart.

        yap american pool but i tot their ball is lighter although its bigger??i feel its lighter

          It really is what you are comfortable with. Chris Melling played with a very light one piece snooker cue for a long time winning lots of tournamnets before he changed to a "proper" 9 ball cue.
          If you are making balls and feel that nothing is lacking, then why change, right?
          But if you are having problem with certain shots then just try out some pool cues to see if they suit you more.

            Lol, dude, American pool balls are so heavier.

            As PQJ mentioned earlier, no need to fix what's not broken... but if you are considering to purchase an American pool cue, Mezz is a good choice imo... I was previously recommended to the brand, got myself one and it plays beautiful. Looks great too.

              i already have a mezz set..but since now i decided to concentrate more on snooker i was thinking if i should use snooker cue to play on pool table so i wont have to carry so much stuff around.. should try it one day
